The professional art of lying

Lying is an art. Yeah you heard it right, it's an art. It is something which can be learnt.  Many religions believe that lying is sinful. But technically everyone in the history has lived at some point of time and everyone in the future will lie too. We all lie sometimes right?  Lying has certain issues as well. It makes people not believe in you and weaken relationships. But what if people believe blindly in you lies? What if you can manipulate people by lying? Sounds interesting, right. Lying professionally is a solution to all this. If you are lying on the base of a fake story, make sure that your story doesn't have any loopholes in it. You must have an answer to each and every question someone asks about your story. This makes your sorys more believing and real. Suppose I want to manipulate a friend and want to get some secret information which he/she isn't willing to share. For that you have to first win his/her trust. So you must know something about ...

The suspicious prediction

Prediction, which many people want to learn and already use in their daily life. But how accurate it is, is the actual question. We all have learnt about probability in our school maybe. If you toss a coin the probability of getting heads or tails in 0.5. This is what we all have read. But you know what, you get this answer considering that there is no other case which would come into picture. Let's say that when you flip the coin, you somehow lose it and hence don't know if it's a head or a tail then just like the "Schrodinger's cat paradox" it may be said that we get both heads and tails. This brings us a 3rd case. Hence what we have studied is the maximum probability and not just the probability. The maximum probability of getting a head when a coin is tossed is 0.5. So why am I saying all this? Well this can be useful in lying in a very professional manner and manipulate people. If you predict something right about people, they wonder how you'v...

Whom should you Date?

People getting into relationships a lot now a days. So one question arises in my mind. Why do some people breakup soon while others enjoy a long term relationship. Should one date a popular person or someone who's not popular. NOTE: Following are just my observations. One thing we might have observed that popular people have a lot of choices. A beautiful girl in college is also a popular one. Almost every guy would wish to go out with her. So that girl has many options. Lets consider a situation: A girl 'X' is very popular and a guy 'Y' is average looking, not at all popular, stays alone most of the time but has crush on this girl like every other guy in the college. 'Y' wants a long term relationship and no other girl ever talks to him other than 'X'. 'X' is not only popular but also humble and polite and a good friend of 'Y'. So should 'Y' ask her out? See, clearly 'X' has a lots of other options beside ...

Hamilton's Rule: You are Selfish

As per Hamilton's rule, rB>C where, r is the relationship between the two individuals involved, B is the one you would sacrifice and C is the one you want to save. So basically what is its significance? It states that our genes work in a very selfish manner. It tends to take decisions which are most favorable for its retention and preserving its own identity. Let's understand it by an example. Say You went on a trip with your daughter and 3 of your nieces (your sister's 3 daughters). And suddenly you met an accident. Somehow you saved yourself but now got stuck in a critical condition. And that condition is: You can either save your own daughter or 3 of your nieces. So whom would you save? Well, as per Hamilton's rule, Your relation with your daughter is 50% (the other 50% is from your wife). You also have a 50% relation with your sister (say only one sibling). and your sister has a 50% relation with each of her daughters so your relation with her daug...

NEW DAY, NEW LIFE

A Tale Of Happiness Hello once again,  Today i am going to share a few ideas on happiness. Every person in this world has seen and will certainly face sadness in life. Life means a simple blend of happiness and sadness. And the most interesting thing is that this blend differs from person to person. For me happiness can be something whereas the same thing can be sadness for someone else. So the meaning of happiness is not same for all. moreover its extent is not same for all too.  Just imagine, A rich person, living a lavish life, would be probably happy if he becomes more and more rich among those he/she is competing with. While on the other hand a poor person would be happy if he is able to earn enough money to fulfill the requirements of his family. A poor person has a limitation beyond which he can't even imagine. Even a rich person has a limit, but already being a rich person he can imagine beyond his limits and try to extend his limit. A poor person needs to ...
